Securope flexible lifeline system on ground

ANSI/ASSE Z359.6: 2009

Features

The Securope horizontal lifeline system is a flexible fall restraint and fall arrest equipment that is installed on ground configuration. The NEO intermediate anchors absorb energy in case of a fall. Thanks to the swaging of crimping rings, the cable swag is minimized. The Securope HLL is frequently installed on flat or sloped roofs. The engineering department of Fallprotec has designed and tested a wide range of fixing brackets for the different types of roofs such as 24" gage TPO roofs, standing seam, concrete

Advantages

  • Up to 2 users
  • 36' max. between brackets
  • 100% pass-through
  • Multi-span system
  • Robust stainless steel components
  • Energy absorbing and orientable intermediate anchors
  • Wide range of brackets for all structures, fragile and rigid
  • Possibility of custom-made solutions with the Fallprotec’s engineering department

Applications

  • Fall arrest
  • Fall restraint
  • Maintenance of industrial roofs
  • Maintenance of residential roofs
  • Maintenance of architectural highlights and monuments roofs
  • Maintenance of airport roofs
  • Maintenance of commercial office and mall roofs

NEO intermediate anchor with energy absorption and fall indicator

The NEO intermediate anchor is a robust high grade AISI 316 stainless steel intermediate anchor.
In the event of a fall the shear pin is activated, thus reducing the force transmitted to teh roof. This versatile anchor can be mounted on ground, wall and ceiling.
It reduces the force transmitted to the bracket to max. 1,350 lbs (6kN)

EVO intermediate anchor

The EVO intermediate anchor is designed for engineered horizontal lifelines on concrete roofs. Made of stainless steel AISI 316 it is resistent to marine and corrosive environments. Used in conjunction with TEVO end anchor 13659

Traveler with steel carabiner

Fallprotec has several travelers to adapt to each working environment. The traveler passes smoothly above the intermediate anchors. The end user can walk along the lifeline without needign to disconnect at any time. The glider can be removed from the line by disconnecting the carabiner and pressing the latch.
Fallprotec provides captive travelers (13687) and openable travelers (13627).

ZiP! Fall arrester on inclined lifeline 30°- 60°

The Securope Zip! Inclined traveler is equipped with a brake to lock on the cable in case of a fall or a slide on an inclined surface.
Sloped roofs is complicated especially in case of wet surfaces. Installing permanent walkway systems on teh roof alongisde teh Securoep engineered lifeline is part of a comprehensive risk assessment.
